He was predeceased by: his parents, Sardar Gurbachan Singh and Bibi Sant Kaur of Village Naura; and his brother Sardar Jagtar Singh Vaid of Derby, England.. He is survived by: his wife Dalip Kaur Vaid; his sister-in-law Gian Kaur Vaid of Derby; his children, Jagjit Singh Vaid (Jagbir Kaur Vaid), Manjit Kaur Kaloti (Karam Singh Kaloti) and Ravinder Kaur Nanuan (Kulwant Singh Nanuan); and his grandchildren, Navi Vaid (Patrycja Vaid), Monica Vaid (Mohit Kapur), Reena Kaloti (Craig Wong), Veena Kaloti Poonam Kaloti (Tom McEwen), Kim Nanuan (Bryan Barr), Sandy Nanuan (Katie Nanuan), Lenyn Singh Vaid, Mylo Singh Vaid, Siya Kaur Kapur, Kaden Singh Kapur, Ava Kaur Wong, Luke Singh Wong, Nolan Singh McEwen, Graham Singh McEwen, Carter Michael Singh Nagus and Ashton Karam Singh Nagus. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
