He is survived by: his spouse Jessielyn Polintan of Calgary, AB; his sons, Reuben and Renzo; his siblings, Ernie, Ruben Jr., Joseph, Narciso, Remedios and Medi; and his extended family, Holloway and Deerfoot South. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home (12281 40 St SE, Calgary, AB T2Z4E6). A prayer was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Cecilia's Catholic Church (321 90 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2J0A1).
Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
