He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Monica Vettergreen (John) of Calgary, Laura Taylor (Kevin) of Strathmore and Ryan Summers (Gay) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Haley and Quinn Taylor; his stepgrandchildren, Stefan, Alyssa (Chad), Brooklynn and Boston Hickey; his sister Sharen Herasymuik (Lawrence); his brother-in-law Elton Chorney (Jan); and his mother-in-law Joan Chorney.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of the Donor's choice.
