She is survived by: her children, Shawna Meister of Ottawa and Shane Meister of North Vancouver; and her granddaughters, Keara and Kate of North Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers or a service, she asked that donations be made to your local cancer research institute, the humane society, or the food bank.
