He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bede and Barbara Steidel. He is survived by: his sister Jacquline; and his nephews, Spencer and Toby.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Twisted Element (1006 11 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2R0G3).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Robert's memory are invited to support organizations and causes that reflect the compassion, community, culture, and sense of belonging that mattered to him, including the End of the Rainbow Foundation, Distress Centre Calgary, and Calgary Opera.
