He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bryden and Margaret Bryden of Mannville Alberta; and his brothers, John Bryden (Jack), William Bryden (Bill) and James Bryden (Jim) of Mannville, Alberta..

He is survived by: his wife Edna Wilde; his sons, Dr. John Bryden and Robert G. Bryden; his daughter-in-law Heidi Bryden; his grandchildren, Jordan Bryden and Heather Frede (James Frede); and his sister Betty Cornish (Helen Duholke) of Surrey, B. C..

Unfortunately due to Government Covid19 restrictions, a church service will not be held but interment will be at Edenbrook Memorial Gardens on May 25, 2020 with friend and Pastor Jim Atkinson officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made Vets' Angels at the Colonel Belcher, care of Alberta Health Trust.
