He was predeceased by: his siblings, Allan Rudolph Skidmore, Norman Mills, May Mills, Margie Lytle, Hubert Ferguson and Floyd Rowland; and his parents, Mary Winona Marguerite Skidmore and William Ferguson.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene Ferguson; his children, Jeff Ferguson of Fresno, California, Kevin Ferguson (Courtnaye Barthelette) and George Ferguson (Jacqueline Ferguson) of Calgary, Alberta; his grandchildren, Haley Dyson, Mia Ferguson, Ewing Ferguson and Skye Ferguson; his brothers, Bill Mills, Michael Morigeau and Darrell Hall; and his close friend George Pilon.
