Robert Knecht Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Knecht (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on May 28, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Ileen; his children, Roderick (Joanne) and Kathy Slifka (Rick); his grandchildren, Ryan (Cheyenne), Davis (Nikki), Arielle and Amelia; his great grandchildren, Walter, Abraham, Martha and Darrow; his siblings, Margaret Rosehill, Beth Dorsey and Norman Knecht (Pat); his sister-in-law Joyce Knecht; his parents, Otto Knecht and Ellen Knecht; and his brothers, Gordon Schmidt, Don Schmidt, Ted Schmidt and Emma Schmidt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
