He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Edwards and Eva Edwards; his sister Judy McNeil; and his brother-in-law Doug Bales. He is survived by: his wife Carol Edwards; his children, Donna McKay and Rob Edwards; his son-in-law Jim McKay; his granddaughter Alexandra McKay; his siblings, Jack Edwards, Linda Renfert, Betty Bales and Dale Edwards; and his brother-in-law Randy McNeil.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's honour can be made to the Children's Make a Wish Foundation.
