He was predeceased by: his parents, Hebert Hughes and Hattie Hughes (Burnett); his wife Kaye (Johnson) of Londonderry Station, NS; and his brother John (Jack). He is survived by: his sisters, Jean Rutledge (Goldie) of Truro, NS and Kaye Thompson of Fall River, NS; and his children, Becky (John Rowsell) of Uruguay, Trevor (Anna Blewchamp) of Toronto, Jody Hennessey (Derrick) of Calgary and Adrian (Robbyn) of Kelowna. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
