He was predeceased by: his parents, Irven Thompson and Marie Thompson of Keoma, AB. He is survived by: his wife Betty Anne Aldrich-Black; his children, Lori LaBoucane (Gord) of Mayerthorpe, AB, Rob (Johanne) of Mayerthorpe, AB, Len (Tracy) of Mayerthorpe, AB and Deb Speer (Steve) of Blue Ridge, AB; his sister Joyce Borle (Art) of Cranbrook, BC; and his uncle Harry Shierman of Calgary. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.
