It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Thor Walterson (Calgary, Alberta), born in Riverton, Manitoba, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Sigrun Chapman; his stepfather Arnold Chapman of Calgary; his father Frank Walterson; his stepmother Blanche Walterson of Riverton, MB; his brother William Walterson of Winnipeg, MB; and his stepson Michael Walterson of Toronto, ON..

He is survived by: his wife Norma; his daughters, Kris Walterson, Sherry Walterson and Kirsten Walterson (Kevin); his nephews, Les Walterson (Lois) and Gerry Walterson (Colleen); his niece Kimberley Zerbin (Ray); his brother-in-law Chris Larson (Linda); and his nephew Trevor Hyatt-Larson (Jaime). He is also survived by three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
