“I knew Rod in the early seventies when we both trained as Communication Consultants in the old Alberta Government Telephones organization in Calgary. I was only a good friend for a few years as I left AGT in late 1973 to join my father," s firm McArthur Furniture. Rod was a gregarious individual. Smart with a marvelous sense of humor. Rod's laugh was infectious and he laughed hard and he laughed deeply. I was honored to be asked to be a best man.in the summer of 1973 . A dear friend .”
