He is survived by: his children, Ron (Jacqueline), Darren (Jolene), Rhonda and Darrel (Gina); and his grandchildren, Rachel, Brianna, Derek, Amanda, Jordyn, Jaxon, Hallie and Janay.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A reception was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Lounge) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7).
