He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jones and Ethel Jones; his wife Myrtle Jones; his brother Gordon Jones; and his brothers-in-law, Brian Rad and Wayne Smillie.

He is survived by: his sisters, Wilma Rad and Carol Smillie; and his sister-in-law Nancy Jones. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
