She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Benstead and Marion Benstead; and her brother Bill Benstead. She is survived by: her husband Detlef Mroczkowski of Calgary; her children, Wes (Ashlie) and Lisa (Curtis); and her grandchildren, Madison of Calgary, William of Calgary, Hayley of Calgary, Levi of Calgary and Ariel of Calgary. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
