She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Schlemme and Irmgard Schlemme; her brothers, Helmut and Manfred Schlemme; and her son Monty Lietz.

She is survived by: her husband Ervin; her daughters, Tandea Saunders (Wally Tobin) of Vegreville and Connie Anderson of Lloydminster; her granddaughter Kylea; her brother Seigfried Schlemme (Lorrie) of Lethbridge; and her sister-in-law Bessie Schlemme of Calgary. She is also survived by numerous nieces and their families, and many friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service will be by invitation only.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rose may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
