He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; his parents, Les Briscoe and Edna Briscoe; and his brothers, Earl and Peter.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Briscoe of Calgary, AB, Sandra Oostlander (Steve) of Bassano, AB, Brenda Foster (Craig) of Kelowna, BC and Rhonda Griffiths (Bill) of Calgary, AB; and his grandchildren, Tyrel, Mathew, Mandy, Landon, Trisha, Jodie, Garrett, Curtis, Chelsea and Joshua. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
