She was predeceased by: her former husband Henry Shelley (Hank); her husband Douglas Kerr; her parents, Rufus and Lucy; and her siblings, Walt, Harold, Herb, Ellen and Margaret.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Kathleen Kerr-Koch (late Gerhard), Larry Shelley (Laura Lee), Diane Schiavon and Trevor Shelley (Mary); and her brothers, Bob Sandford (Vi) and Don Sandford (Rebecca). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
