She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Diemert and Annie Diemert; her husband Fred Kon; her son Murray; her sisters, Theresa Diemert, Margaret Kanuka, Shirley Keeley and Nora Oel; her brothers-in-law, Tom Fendall, Dave Colwell, Joe Oel and Bo Kanuka; and her daughter-in-law Kay-Del Godbout.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Kon (Sandi) and Pamela Veer (Jody); her grandchildren, Michelle (Jon), Laura, Brady, Evan (Ashley), Brooklyn and Maygen (Rene); her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Dawson, Kinsley, Sophie and Avaeah; her siblings, Donna Colwell, Geraldine Olsson (Bo), Sheila Cronkhite (David) and Joe Diemert (Carol); and her brother-in-law Dan Keeley.
