She was predeceased by: her parents, Selvaratnam and Ariyaratnam of Jaffna; and her brothers, Pathmaraja and Thevaraja of Jaffna. She is survived by: her children, Sangeethary Ananthasuthan of Calgary, AB and Navaneethan Shanmuganathan of Calgary, AB; her grandchildren, Ahishan, Ajishan, Arishan Ananthasuthan Srinitha, Nikshitha, Ankajan and Shynisha Navaneethan; and her siblings, Shamaladevi of Calgary, AB, Mangaladevi of Toronto, ON, Manchuladevi of France, Thevendraraja and Switzerland Thavendraraja of Switzerland Rajakanthan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, their families, and friends.
