He was predeceased by: his parents, Alessandro and Antonia; and his daughter-in-law Carolynne Bernardo. He is survived by: his wife Mafalda Bernardo; his children, Toni Rombough (Perry), Franca Bunz (Ron), Ivan Bernardo (Daria), Alec Bernardo (Andrea) and Isabella Doyle (Garth); his grandchildren, Lisa Shauer (Dustin), Joel Rombough (Katie), Marco Bernardo (Kaitlyn), Andrew Doyle (Charly), Aaron Bernardo, Matthew Bunz (Axee), Katie Bernardo (Sebastien), Joshua Doyle (Sarah) and Abigail Bernardo; and his great grandchildren, Arianna, Ryan Shauer and Bria Rombough.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Foster's Garden Chapel & Funeral Home (3220 4 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M3A5).
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
