He is survived by: his wife Surjit Kaur; his daughter Davindar Bhatia; his son-in-law Harvinder Singh Bhatia; his son Ishpal Singh Panesar; his daughter-in-law Neelu Panesar; his son Iqbal Singh Panesar; his daughter-in-law Sandip Kaur Panesar; his grandchildren, Gurjyot, Simran, Jasmeen, Paramjyot, Mantej and Aman; his sister-in-law Amarjit Kaur; and his nephews, Baljit Singh and Jaspal Singh.
