She was predeceased by: her brother Robert McDowell (Bob); her father Earl McDowell; and her brother Paul McDowell. She is survived by: her mother Eleanor McDowell (James Carr); her children, Amanda De Souza (Brian) and John Aaron De Souza (Kristin); her grandson Josh Doughty; and her brother Ralph McDowell (Renee). She is also survived by her niece, nephews, and cousins.
