She was predeceased by: her parents, George Verbrugge and Catherine Verbrugge of Medicine Hat, Alberta; her siblings, Patricia Verbrugge (Tish) and Gerald Verbrugge of Medicine Hat, Alberta.; and her close friend Floyd Freeman.
She is survived by: her son Tyler Gardner of Vancouver, BC; her siblings, Shirley Laidlaw (Jim), Beverley Sandor (Carey) and Brian Verbrugge; Irene Phaneuf. She is also survived by three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
