She is survived by: her husband Dr. Eldon Smith of Calgary, AB; her children, Trudi of Victoria, BC and Gregory of Calgary, AB; her daughter-in-law Ingrid; her grandchildren, Christopher (Kloria Wen), Katrin (Luke Kushneryk) and Patrick; her sister Barbara of Denver, CO; and her brother-in-law Robert of Red Deer, AB. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Parkdale United Church (2919 8 Ave NW, Calgary, AB T2N1C8).
