With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Sobochan of Calgary, Alberta, born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on March 25, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Slaunwhite and Ida Slaunwhite; and her brother Redge Slaunwhite. She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Joe Sobochan (Liana) of Calgary and Donna Sobochan of Morinville; her grandchildren, Matthew Toth, Ashley Toth and Jake Sobochan; her siblings, Don Slaunwhite (Dianne), Ken Slaunwhite, Joan Slaunwhite (Len) and Lorrie Pheasey; her cousin Ellen Gray; and her sister-in-law Maria Magdic (Stanko). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
