Shuet left this world on January 3, 2026 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kam Shang Wong and Mei Sun Wong; her stepmother Mei Kam Wong; her sister Cindy Shuet Fun Tse; and her son-in-law Michael Okumura.
She is survived by: her husband Harvey; her children, Ron (Helen), Dennis (Jeane) and Lana; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Chris), Samantha, Christopher, Victoria (Anthony), Brandon, Adam and Kristen; and her half-siblings, Barry Wong, Harry Wong and Ivy Hong-Tai. She is also survived by her family first, making her husband, children and grandchildren her.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Foster's Garden Chapel (3220 4 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M2P9).
