Though Solveig may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hrefna Borgford and Skapti Borgford. She is survived by: her husband Murray Matthes; her siblings, Karen Botting (Dwight) of Winnipeg, Lara Mazur (Harvey LaRocque) of Burnaby, B. C. and Thor Borgford (Kelley Arnott) of New Westminster, B. C.; and her friend Pauline.
