He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Reid (Louise) and Louise Reid; his wife Shirley Dauncey; his sisters, Dorothy Gardner and Beth Ahrens (Spenser); his children, David (Ann Moriarty), Ian (Heather), Barbara Reid and Nancy Vruwink (Tim); his daughter-in-law Terry Hamilton Reid; his grandchildren, Lauren Reid (Diana Rae), Amanda Schoenberg (Cory), Sara Reid, Jason Reid, Troy Nielsen, Rita Vruwink and Jennifer Viviani (Alex); his great grandchildren, Luca Viviani, Sebastian, Jasper Reid, Ethan and Willow Schoenberg; his stepchildren, Christopher Dauncey (Elaine), Sidney Keith Dauncey (Peggy), April Barton (Neil) and Stuart; his great grandchildren, Sid Dauncey and Maverick Dauncey; his former wife Doris; his brother Harold Reid (Lois); his brother-in-law Merle Gardner; his son Richard Murray Reid; and also, Shawn Dauncey (Ashley), Ryan Dauncey (Jennifer), Eli Barton (Chelsea) and Mariah Barton. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
A private Celebration of Stuart's life will be held at EVENTIDE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4820 – 45 Street, Red Deer on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 11:00 a. m. Due to provincial COVID restrictions, we ask only invited family and friends attend the service in Red Deer.
