He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Mortimer and Alice Mortimer; his son Shane (Natasha); his sisters-in-law, Lydia Schneider and Laura Lazeski; his nephews, Clinton Glas and Derek Heisler; and also, Martin and Tillie Glas.

He is survived by: his wife Bunny; his son Spencer (Colleen); his grandchildren, Hannah, Mackenzie, Thomas and Justine; his cousin Marilyn Mortimer; his aunts, Roxienna Ashmore and Hellmer; and his parents-in-law, Del, Shannon Schneider, David, Yvette Glas, Louise, Harvey Donauer, Quin, Vivian Glas, Marie, Allen Kress, Ron Lazeski, Syd, Debbie Glas, Joan, Don Heisler, Dee and Murray Froehlich. He is also survived by cousins; and many close friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions the mass will be closed to the public.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rising Sun Long Term Care home via the Sheep River Health Trust or to the charity of donors choice.
