He is survived by: his wife Luximi; his children, Uthaiyanesan, Kumuthiny and Tharshiny Tharmalingam; his grandchildren, Vinochan, Shashini and Sameena; his daughter-in-law Rajeswary Uthaiyanesan; and his siblings, Kanagammah Sinnathamby, Thanapackiawathy Kandasamy and Thavamanithevi Sivaprahasam.
