He is survived by: his children, Chad Slaney of Calgary, AB, Craig Slaney of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Kerry Slaney of Toronto, ON, Sophia Slaney (Felix) and Gina Fisher (Jim) of Sundre, AB; his siblings, Roy Slaney of St. Lawrence, Gloria Ducey (Gene) of St. Lawrence and Joan Edwards (Robert) of North Sydney, NS; his sisters-in-law, Therese Slaney, Jean Slaney, Sheila Slaney and Margaret Slaney of St. Lawrence; and his grandchildren, Evan Slaney (Erin), Logan, Lacey, Colton Edwards (Rachel), Bronx and Dax Slaney.
