He was predeceased by: his brother Bruce; his parents, William and Myrtle; his siblings, Linda and Sid; his father-in-law Chester Keys; his sister-in-law Loraine McWilliam; and his mother-in-law Dixie Keys.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his pets, Oliver and Jordy; his children, Morgan of Keremeous, BC, Dustin (Colleen) of Airdrie, AB, Krystal Shea (Shane Wist) of Calgary and Mandy Perreault of Calgary; his grandchildren, Issac, Wyatt, Grace, Danny, Alice, Katie, Phoenix Wist, Tyson and Dylan Romphf; his siblings, Bill (Penny) of Picture Butte, AB, Ray (Sandy) of Strathmore, AB and Colleen Keys of Chapeau, PQ; and his brother-in-law Bob Keys (Eunice) of Calgary. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
