He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Alison Killops and Thomas William Turner; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Kenneth George Turner and Gloria Jean Turner. He is survived by: his daughters, Charlie Turner of Calgary, AB and Stephanie Turner of Calgary, AB; and his grandchildren, Ashton, Odessa and Lilly Turner of Calgary.
