He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Olivito and Giovanni Durante of San Giovanni; his siblings, Saverio, Salvatore, Antoinetta and Caterina; his parents-in-law, Giovanni Lopez and Teresa Allevato; and his daughter-in-law Virginia Greco-Durante.
He is survived by: his wife Vittoria; his children, John and Dianne (Nelson); his grandchildren, Ashley, Tom, Brittany, Corey and Stephanie; his siblings, Pasquale, Giuseppe (Teresa), Maria Aiello, Serafina Gentile, Filomena, Teresa and Virginia Durante; and his sister-in-law Caterina Madia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
