She was predeceased by: her husband Bishnu Prasad Sigdel. She is survived by: her children, Babita Sigdel, Sabita Sigdel, Nirmala Sigdel, Nira Niraula, Radhika Bhattarai, Sagar Sigdel, Loknath Sigdel and Gopal Chandra Sigdel; her children-in-law, Ramesh Khatiwada, Rishi Dhital, Sukdev Timsina, Gopal Niraula, Prem Sagar Bhattarai, Renuka Sigdel, Durga Sigdel and Pabitra Devi Sigdel; her grandchildren, Ayushman, Sumedha, Anshuman, Saumyata, Charu, Samwid, Stuti, Jyoti, Suman, Jamuna, Subash, Susma, Shradha, Khagendra, Hemanta, Junu, Krishna, Anju and Lekhnath; and her siblings, Harimaya Baral and Shikharnath Dahal. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home (12281 40 St SE, Calgary, AB T2Z4E6).
Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
