Vangjel leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Vangjel’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Vangjel will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his wife Ermira Jani; his children, Oneda Ulriksen (David) and Genci Jani (Chelsea); and his grandchildren, Sophia Jani, Lily Jani, Silas Jani, Joshua Ulriksen and Elise Ulriksen. He is also survived by extended family members, dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Park Memorial (5008 Elbow Dr SW, Calgary, AB T2S2L5).
Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
