He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his sister Helen France; and his parents, Aida Thomas and Benjamin Thomas. He is survived by: his significant other Lanka Young; his grandson Zach (Zsuzsi); his great grandchild Kinga; his daughter Tanya Catonio (Tom); his grandchildren, Reagan, Hunter and Ryder; his siblings, Gordon (Doreen), Don (Bernice), Barb McKoen, Jim LaMarsh (Sheila) and Claudette Hansen (Darryl); and also, Jamie (Gerry) and Darryn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Victor can be made to Stars Air Ambulance or the Alberta Humane Society.
