She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Cholik and Dora Cholik (Tymchuk); her husband John; and her sons, Reginald and Dwayne.

She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Firth; her daughter-in-law Janice Martiniuk; her grandchildren, David Martiniuk (Alys), Ryan Martiniuk (Katie), Kimberly Thiessen (David), Maranda Martiniuk, Matthew Firth and Evan Firth; her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Rachel, Ian, Juan Andres, Alana and Oliver; her sisters, Ellen Gillin and Lucy Roddick; and her siblings-in-law, Florence Hardekopf and Victor Martiniuk. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
