He was predeceased by: his parents, Surendra Nath Dey and Nirupama Dey (Bose); and his spouse Nirmal Dey (Sharma). He is survived by: his children, Sujata (Jeff) and Anil; and his siblings, Santosh and Bhakti Dutta.
