With sadness, we share the passing of Viola Florence (Ehnisz) Deering (Calgary, Alberta). Viola, born on August 14, 1928, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Deering; her son-in-law Ron Gillies; and her parents, Philip Ehnisz and Anna Ehnisz. She is survived by: her daughters, Gaileen Gillies and Lois Roth (Randy); her grandchildren, Arlas Craig (Anthony), Trinda Guillet (Cédric), Logan Gillies (Elizabeth), Lisa Roth and Rena Roth; and her great grandchildren, Keiana, Kaia, Keelyn Craig, Olan, Loic Guillet, Isla, Kenly, Beau and Lindie Gillies.
