He was predeceased by: his son Dean; his parents, Ida and Irving; and his brothers, Vern and Dennis.

He is survived by: his wife Faye; his sons, Todd and Bruce; his brothers, Wes, Leon and Lynn Brown (Roz); and his brother-in-law Bryan Odegard (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
