He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marjorie; his children, David (Rae), Elizabeth (Shaun), Koen, Dawson, Erin, Shayne and Evyn; his parents, Otto and Maria; his siblings, Eckhart and Wolfgang; and his nephew Jurgen Gretz (Sabine).
Donations may be made in Werner's memory to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
