He was predeceased by: his siblings, Merle Myers, Irma Powers, Al Hatlelid and Lloyd Hatlelid; and his grandson Eric Hatlelid.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hatlelid; his children, Doug Hatlelid (Margaret), Betty Mac-Kenzie (Steve), Keith Hatlelid (Anne), Len Hatlelid (Sharon) and David Hatlelid; and his sister-in-law Beth Hatlelid. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
