He was predeceased by: his grandchild Jonah; his parents, Gabriel and Anastasia; his siblings, Ella Poznikoff and Gabriel Tajcnar; and his siblings-in-law, Juliet Allen, Di Shill, Jim Allen and Laurie Shill.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Tajcnar; his children, Kevin, Lia and Neil; his children-in-law, Val and Larine; his grandson Alexander; his brothers, Rudy (Rose), Peter (Wilma) and Frank; his siblings-in-law, Harry Poznikoff, John Jefferys (Jenny), Liz Tajcnar and Evelyn Brown; his nephew David; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isla and Adam; his niece Sheri Allen; his great-nephew Aldo; his great-niece Juliet; and his nephew Mike Allen. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and great nieces and nephews.
