He is survived by: his wife Amelia "Amy" Vermeylen; his daughters, Diane Soppit (Brad) and Jacqueline Jamieson (Jacquie); his granddaughter Alexandria Soppit; and his sister-in-law Sheila Palmquist. He is also survived by cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
