He was predeceased by: his parent James Seaward; his parent-in-law Thomas Battiste (Jane); his child Rhonda Seaward of Jason Seaward; his sister Shirley Hann (Bert) of Viola Osmond; his siblings-in-law, Joan Seaward, Sharon Seaward, Mabel Battiste, Joseph Battiste, Raymond Battiste, Lewis Battiste and Robert Peddle (Bob); and his granddaughter Glenda Kendall.

He is survived by: his parent Frances Seaward; his wife Audrey; his sons, Glenn Seaward (Harriet) of Calgary, AB, Travis Seaward (Lorna) of Port and Randy Seaward (Angela); his grandchildren, Jessica (Darren) of Calgary, AB, Gary (Leanne) of Calgary, AB, Brandon (Nakita) of Port, Blake (April) of Corner Brook, NL, Evan and Emma; his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Leah; his siblings, Phyllis Cox (Robert), Robert Seaward (Sally), Eric Seaward (Laura) of Seattle, USA and Donna Lee McQuire (Lloyd) of Fredericton, NB; Ronnie Battiste (Maxine) of Doyles, NL, Nina Peddle of Port, Kevin Battiste (Donna) of Port, Marlene Brake (Tom) of South Branche, NL, Gerard Battiste (Carolann) of Port, Jerome Battiste (Pauline) of Port, Mary Battiste of Port, Marie Battiste of Port, Ruth Fillier of Port, Lloyd Osmond of Port, Tom Francis of Port and Jean Gabriel of McDougalls, NL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
