He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret; his parents, Stephen Smith and Mildred Smith; his pet Georgia; his children, Heather, Darren Fidyk of Calgary, Debbie, Mike Filan of Edmonton, Stewart and Tara Smith of Calgary; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Kaplan (Daniel), Meagan Fidyk (McConnell) and Robin Fidyk (Erik); his great grandchild Delainey Kaplan (Calgary); his grandchildren, Lucas, Joseph Filan (Edmonton), Hannah and Rebekah Smith (Calgary); and his brothers, Roy (Mary) of Yellowgrass, SK and Don (Shirley) of Mississauga, ON.. He was also cherished by great) nieces, (great) nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
