He was predeceased by: his parents, Konrad Stickel and Lydia Stickel; and his brothers, Albert (Lily), Edward (Edith) and Oscar.

He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Alma Stickel, Sheila Wiese, Elma Dean, Ernst (Bill) and Susanne Wiese. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
